Take the first step to becoming an MISD teacher.

The application process is designed to give you a better sense of what it's like to work in Midland and help schools determine if you'd be a good fit. 

How to Apply

Apply today to become an MISD teacher for the 2018-19 school year! To apply, please follow these steps:

1 Browse open positions.

Get started by browsing the list of open teaching positions.

2 Apply online by July 31st.

After you find a position that interests you, submit your online applicationThe priority deadline to apply is July 31st. If this is your first time applying, you will need to create a new applicant account first. Once you've created an account and submitted an application, you will be able to check your application status and apply for other teaching positions. Please keep in mind that the application must be submitted within 48 hours and must include all relevant documentation, including transcripts and certificates. 

3 Participate in an interview.

After your application has been reviewed by the Human Resource Services department, you may be invited to participate in an interview with the school principal. 

4 Receive an offer.

If a school decides that you are a good fit, you will receive an offer to become an MISD teacher.
